Artwork Exhibition: The Founders
Local artists Angela Russell and Jez Hunt, leather specialist, have created a multi-discipline art exhibit based on the characters of Angela’s fantasy series ‘World of the Fire Cat and the Clowder of Grimalhame’.
Inspired by Celtic, Medieval and Viking art, these paintings and costumes bring her stories to life.
For all fantasy lovers and cat fiends, this is a must see display that captures the imagination and brings fantasy to life.

History
Newcastle Castle is a grim reminder of royal authority where armies gathered and criminals were imprisoned and executed. It is where the story of Newcastle began, and the reason the city got its name.
